This 12V CDI ignition coil has been manufactured to replace either of the original coils with the original genuine coil number 2H7-82310-60 or 2H7-82320-60 on an XS1100 (UK models). The years and models it's suitable to replace are shown above.

The coil has 100mm centre to centre mounting, with 2 spade connectors and 2 HT leads and is a great replacement for a coil that is now 40 years old. If you're having spark issues with your XS 1100 then it's a no brainer to get a new pair of ignition coils on the bike, and get the spark you deserve.
